    Born in Quebec City, Gontran Girard has simultaneously joined the practice of industrial psychology and the practice of music as two important aspects of his life.Some of his music has been edited in 15 different countries and has served as themes for television series in Japan and in Holland. His music has played aboard aircrafts around the world.

    Born in Montreal, Canada, in 1946, Robert Haig Coxon studied composition at McGill University. Highly regarded as a multikeyboardist, he has directed various pop and jazz groups. A versatile performer in many styles, he also composes for theatre and film. Coxon draws on a broad range of personal and musical experience to create his music for relaxation. [ ... ]

    Found in 1997, Matapat is composed of two lead members, Gaston Bernard and Simon Lepage who play acoustic as well as electric bass, fiddle, foot-tapping, mandolin, guitar and vocals.
